DATA GOVERNANCE LEAD
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take the helm of data governance standards development and monitoring for divisional operations. As a custodian of all data produced and reported on from the company’s systems, you will play a pivotal role in defining a single view of truth for all business reporting across the division. You will be accountable for data quality and integrity, ensuring that all data processes adhere to risk and security policies. This role provides an excellent platform to build effective relationships with stakeholders and apply effective communication strategies.

What you’ll do:
As a Data Governance Lead, you will be at the forefront of our client’s data management efforts. Your primary responsibility will be leading the development, application, and monitoring of data governance standards for divisional operations. You will act as a custodian of all data produced & reported on from the company’s systems. Your role will involve participation in various projects/initiatives at both Group & local level to ensure that data governance standards are applied consistently. You will also manage activities from the Information Management Forum while being responsible for defining a single view of truth for all business reporting across the division.

- Keep abreast of industry, technological, and competitive developments
- Ensure compliance with the Practice Guide and Managing Data Risk framework
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Data Governance Lead role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in data governance. You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience from banking or insurance industry in a reporting/analytical role, with at least 2 years in a structured data governance environment, is essential. Your excellent knowledge of data governance principles, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels will be key to your success in this role.
