QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Data Governance Functional SME, preferably within public sector or government organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and its data governance features.
  • Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong grasp of data governance principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data quality management, and metadata management concepts.
  • Familiarity with relevant data governance regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in data governance, IDMC, or MuleSoft are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Governance - SME, you’ll be crucial in defining and implementing data governance standards, processes, and controls. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, serve as the primary point of contact for data governance inquiries, and conduct assessments to drive continuous improvement.

  • Offer expert knowledge and guidance on data governance best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance standards, processes, and controls.
  • Act as the main contact for all data governance-related queries and issues.
  • Perform data governance assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create and deliver training programs to ensure widespread understanding and implementation of data governance principles.
  • Utilize IDMC to design, implement, and maintain data governance solutions, including data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Work with integration teams to ensure smooth data flow and governance across various systems, including MuleSoft integration platforms.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data governance and related fields.
