We have an opportunity in the role of Data Graduate as part of our Laya Healthcare Graduate Programme.
This 12-month Graduate Programme provides our graduates with professional experience and grounding in business with the aspiration that they will go on to play a pivotal role as part of laya’s team.
This unique Data Graduate programme consists of rotations across various company functions. This will allow you to gain an insight into our core Data Hub and provides you with the opportunity to work in a number of business areas as part of their team.
Successful candidates gain valued data role experience in the Financial service sector, receive mentoring by our Management team and a personalised learning path with access to develop via the DataCamp learning platform.
What we are looking for:
- A 2.1 degree in a Data qualification or equivalent is essential for this role
- Experience in a computer programming language such as Python
- Experience in querying databases with SQL
- Can apply scientific problem solving techniques
- Experience in Cloud Computing (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) would be a plus
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) would also be a plus
- Can work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and communication skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with team members
- Have an ability to easily adapt and respond to changing needs and priorities
- Has drive and determination
