Responsibilities:
Project One has been established to achieve the transformation of the support services functions at Norse. The transformation has elements of technology, process, data, and people change.
The primary project stage is complete and therefore we require a Data Migrations Lead, You’ll be responsible for supporting the implementation of D365 F&O . As Data Migrations Lead, you will be reporting directly into the Technical Architect and supporting the wider Project One team with a number of technical duties. These will include;
- Working in collaboration with the Project One team to further develop and run the automated data migration framework within SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Create automated cleansing and data consolidation routines within the SSIS framework
- Providing data quality reporting to the wider finance team to support them with manual data cleansing
- Creating data mapping templates that are embedded within the SSIS framework
- Support in creating the go live cut over strategy and detailed plan
- Maintaining the project plan for data migration, reporting progress on a weekly basis to the D365 Project Manager.
- Creating technical data migration reconciliation reports and processes
- Running the data migration process for all project phases including go live cut over
- Ensuring that the SSIS framework and reporting maintains data lineage and a clear audit trail back to source data
- Working with the wider Project and finance teams to continually refine the development of the SSIS framework based on feedback and project need
- Providing training and documentation on the data migration framework to the team ensuring effective knowledge transfer and audit compliance
