Up to £38,000pa + Benefits + Hybrid Working
My client, a multinational law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis – working as their new Data Privacy & Cyber Paralegal.

They are looking for someone to join them who can provide outstanding advice and support to the practice group and their external clients. This Paralegal opportunity can be based in any of the following offices:

  • Birmingham
  • Manchester
  • Leeds
  • Glasgow
  • Edinburgh

As the successful Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Working as an expert with Data Privacy and Cyber, supporting the Lawyers on a variety of complex work, including;
  • Legal research
  • Proofreading and amending legal documents
  • Liaising with external clients and Senior Fee-Earners
  • Providing advice on both Data Privacy and Cyber queries/issues
  • You’ll lead delivery on small to medium scale projects alongside the senior members of your team
  • Mentoring and training junior members of staff on all Data Privacy and Protection related matters
  • Support the Senior Specialist and Delivery Manager with implementing new Data Privacy and Cyber work services and solutions

To qualify for this new opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Have a minimum of ONE year working with Data Privacy or Cyber (ideally both)
  • Have experience of working in a legal environment
  • Be degree educated (minimum 2:1 LLB or equivalent)
  • Be organised and be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Be able to commute to one of the above offices a minimum of three days a week
