Data Protection Trainee

We are seeking a motivated, curious, and proactive individual with a passion for data protection to join GF Uponor as Data Protection Trainee for a 12-month fixed-term position. As the selected candidate, you’ll get hands-on experience with a wide range of data protection tasks and projects.

This is what you do

• Support in maintaining GF Uponor’s data inventories (processing activities, assets, and vendors) in OneTrust.
• Support the Group Data Protection Office in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in day-to-day operations.
• Promote privacy across the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess whether data collection and usage practices are transparent, protect user privacy, and mitigate risk.
• Support privacy risk assessments.
• Draft privacy policies, procedures and training materials.
• Evaluate effectiveness of privacy processes.

This is what you need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in law, business administration, business informatics or similar).
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Team player attitude with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, independent and structured way of working.
• Reliable, open and transparent way of communicating.
• Passion and curiosity to learn, improve and develop.
• Ideally experience in the field of data protection, compliance, or information security.
• Very good MS Office skills.
• Eligibility to work in Finland.
