We are seeking an innovative Director of Data Science to help lead strategy and execution in the Curated Experience area in Candy Crush. This role offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of our ambition within the ML/AI space, impacting both Candy Crush Saga and other key projects at King. You’ll work alongside top-notch professionals in a dynamic, cross-functional environment to drive trajectory changing results.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE KINGDOM

You will be part of the area leadership team and work closely together with cross functional leaders and teams across King to execute on the area mission to create a curated experience for every player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership and Execution: Guide strategy development and efficient execution from a data science perspective, ensuring the alignment of technical capabilities with business outcomes. Work closely with various teams to implement data and ML/AI solutions that enhance user experience and product success.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key stakeholder in cross-departmental teams, contributing to strategic decisions that enhance our capabilities across King’s products.
• Innovation and Advocacy: Promote the adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques within the team and across the organization. Represent King’s data science interests in industry forums and contribute to the evolution of our practices.
• Professional Development: Directly manage and support the career growth of Data Scientists and related crafts, ensuring a thriving environment that attracts and retains top talent.
