Are you passionate about using data to solve real-world problems? We’re seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team and work collaboratively on exciting projects. As a team member, you’ll follow our Data Science Blueprint and collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders to define data-related problems and objectives.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant technologies: Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Server
• Familiarity with Australia’s biosecurity and cargo pathways
• Familiarity with Australia’s exports systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define data-related problems and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Analyse data using statistics, visualization, and hypothesis testing.
• Implement machine learning and deep learning models.
• Optimize and evaluate model performance.
• Deploy and maintain data pipelines and models in production.
• Communicate analysis results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Write clear code documentation.
