Sikich has a potential need for a Data Scientist to support our client.
We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our team.

IN ADDITION, SPECIFIC SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ARE AS FOLLOWS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of data analytics
• Experience with Tableau, Python, R, ACL, PowerBI, MATLAB
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills

• Impact & Influence Thinking – You gain support for ideas, proposals, and solutions, and get others to act, with or without formal authority, to advance initiatives/objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques including ability to leverage visualization, data analysis and data mining tools.
• Develops and implements data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
• Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filters and cleans data by reviewing the data and leverages performance indicators to locate and analyze anomalies.
• Works with management to recommend and prioritize business and information needs as well as locate and define new process improvement opportunities based on data analyses.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL DRIVE SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

• Identify gaps in the improper payment data collection processes
• Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the data collection, review, and modeling
• Develop controls to ensure data quality and data completeness
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on organization structure, methods, procedures
  The salary offered for this position would be dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is $97,000 - $120,000.
  Your Work Place/Travel: A majority of the work will be performed remotely. Some travel may be required. You must be able to transport a laptop and working documents to these sites.
  You Work Hours: Full-time. Core hours are 9 am-4 pm EST. Contingent on contract award.
