MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Own analytics projects from end to end
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify high impact applications of advanced analytics.
  • Scope analytical approach and level of effort on a project-by-project basis
  • Implement data collection and modeling partnering with IT as needed.
  • Communicate progress to cross-functional collaborators.
  • Translate data into actionable insights.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and applications of data science to consumer insights and analytics

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience using various analytics tools and programming languages (R, Python, etc.) to develop and apply sophisticated analytics to address business priorities
  • Passion for solving complex data problems and generating cross-functional solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly analytical and structured with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to establish relationships with team members.
  • Collaborative approach to work and ability to operate with limited direction.
  • Experience in retail or consumer products preferred, but not required
