You will join a talented, diverse group of data scientists and analysts working to solve the industry’s toughest problems, as well as contributing your expertise to a large initiative focused on leveraging AI to enable our business.
About the Role
You will need to demonstrate an understanding of how your Data Science skills can translate into real value for the business. You will also need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders,. A genuine passion for AI and its potential to revolutionise the modern workplace, technical and academic background.

Responsibilities

  • Building and testing statistical models, consulting in support of existing and new customer sales
  • Providing complex analytical results in clear, simple messaging to evidence the value provided by our products
  • Following modelling best practices and provide feedback on ways to enhance current processes
  • Providing technical support and be a resource to internal partners in Product, Sales and Technology teams
  • Researching new technologies and bring forward new ideas to the group
  • Supporting and help to shape our data science strategy

Requirements

  • Have degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or quantitative methods (or equivalent experience). Master’s Degree
  • Be able to demonstrable experience or knowledge of applied modelling and analytics experience in applicable industry
  • Have good understanding of statistical methods applied to data analysis, with experience implementing standard ML algorithms
  • Have experience with SQL and Python, with knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and/or Databricks advantageous
  • Have experience in working with LLMs and Generative AI to build natural language applications, with experience in: LLM frameworks, e.g. Langchain, LlamaIndexPrompt Engineering & AgentsRetrieval Augmented Generation & Evaluation Background in NLP advantageous, but not required
  • Have good written communication skills, including the ability to describe statistical results to non-statistical audiences.
  • Experience processing large data sets and matching/merging multiple data sets.
