Together we develop and operate IT applications for the entire ProSiebenSat.1 Group using artificial intelligence within a state-of-the-art technology stack. Our mission is to be a driving force within P7S1 by championing the adoption of AI/Machine Learning initiatives and data-driven thinking. We build innovative products that create value, unlock business opportunities, and empower our colleagues.
In this position, you work within our hybrid model “Flexible” . You will be one or two fixed or flexible days on site, the other days remotely. Get all information here .

YOUR ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• You have a university degree in data science, mathematics, physics, statistics or in a comparable field with (very) good grades
• You have several years of experience in data science, machine learning, data engineering and very good Python skills
• You have in-depth knowledge, theoretical and practical, of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, with a focus on natural language processing and/or computer vision
• Ideally, you have experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP), ML-Ops tools such as MetaFlow and MLflow, and software development with agile methods
• You have excellent English skills, German skills are an advantage, as well as experience in the media and entertainment industry

• As a Data Scientist, you will work as part of a project team on the development of new machine learning applications for our internal colleagues
• You will take responsibility and contribute your own ideas to ensure our applications use the best possible models, driving topics from feature engineering and algorithm selection to model monitoring/evaluation
• You will work on our state-of-the-art AI / ML cloud platform with over 300GB of data processed daily and with frameworks like MetaFlow and MLflow on topics ranging from classical machine learning in big data environments to NLP and video mining
• You will have the chance to perform advanced data analysis with SQL and Apache Spark on distributed systems and use the gained insights to enable data driven decision making
• You will be given a lot of freedom to develop yourself and our division - with us you can and should shape things, contribute your ideas and take on responsibility
• Teamwork and your development are always at the top of our agenda - you will work closely with our experienced team and receive the coaching you need to develop further
