ABOUT THE ROLE
DATA SCIENCE AT CHARLOTTE TILBURY The Data Science team have high ambitions. We’re leading the charge to leverage our data to create hyper-personalised experiences that our customers LOVE, and improve internal decision making in a way that keeps us running efficiently.
The Data Science team is currently small but rapidly growing; team members will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of business problems and gain exposure to a variety of modelling paradigms.
It is an exciting environment to be in, with ever-present possibilities for on-the-job development. The role has a strong focus on personalisation and optimising our marketing. The right candidate will be front-and-centre in our efforts to realise our ambitions in these areas. Key responsibilities The role covers the full stack of data science from scoping, through to building, deployment, communication and monitoring performance.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Running data science proofs-of-concepts to test feasibility and value, uncovering benefits for our customers and our business
- Sourcing and processing data, using domain-specific/agnostic techniques
- Using core skills in data analysis to answer ad-hoc questions to support business decision making
- Building production-ready machine learning models
- Implementing models to realise value, and continually monitoring performance to ensure long-term accuracy
- Managing stakeholders – working with teams across our business to balance the north-star ambition with what is immediately achievable
- Presenting and discussing insights to the wider busines
