Your Mission
Capgemini Engineering is constantly growing and attentive to market opportunities and in search of the best professionals to join its team. We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team, on a hybrid format, with the possibility of participating in many interesting and cutting-edge projects through the whole life-cycle.
Your role:

A Senior Data Scientist exhibits expert-level understanding and execution of data science projects with a strategic impact on the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and mentorship to teams of data scientists and analysts, guiding them to success on intricate data science initiatives.
  • Defining the strategic direction for data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Conducting advanced analysis of complex datasets to derive profound insights, forecast trends, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address high-impact business challenges.
  • Lead the integration of big data technologies and advanced analytics solutions into business processes, driving innovation in methodologies and practices.
  • Establishing best practices for data management, quality, and governance to ensure the integrity and reliability of data science outputs.
  • Effectively communicating complex analytical concepts and the value of data science initiatives to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Advocating for a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning within the organization.

Your Profile:

  • 7 or more years of experience in data science and analytics, with a proven track record of leading successful data science projects.
  • Proficiency of programming languages, including Python and SQL, along with advanced libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or Pytorch.
  • Possess a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced algorithmic problem-solving.
  • Showcase extensive experience in data visualization and interpretation, translating complex results into actionable insights.
  • Exhibit leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Possess technical domain knowledge in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or big data technologies (Spark).
  • Have exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
