Job Description

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate, Post Graduate degree in Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, or engineering or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Payments and Banking Industry
  • Good understanding of data, market intelligence, business intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business problems
  • Demonstrated resource planning and delivery skills

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

  • Results oriented with strong analytical, consultative and problem solving skills
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, with the ability to tailor data driven results to various audience levels
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a matrix environment
  • Very detailed oriented, is expected to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
  • Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strive to continually learn
    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
    Qualifications
    Basic Qualifications
    2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
    Preferred Qualifications
    3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    Designing, developing and implementing BI, reporting and analytic solutions
    Regular and bespoke data analysis to provide insights on the performance and highlighting opportunities for growth
    Collaborating with the internal and external partners to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes
    Running market scans to identify new, emerging players in specified segments, verticals that could complement Visa’s offer
    Providing subject matter expertise and quality assurance of complex data driven analytic projects
    Working with the Data Science team as well as the client’s account executives and other Visa functions as applicable to design and refine a value proposition
    Conduct data analysis to support the exploration leveraging both Microsoft excel and internal BI tools Tableau and Microstrategy
