About Us:
Our client is a leading provider in the insurance business who is committed to delivering innovative and effective solutions, ensuring the highest standards of security and reliability. As a Data Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of our clients’ systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with internal and external teams, providing expert advice, conducting risk assessments, and implementing robust security controls.

What will you do:

  • Develop data encryption and data loss prevention standards and guidelines
  • Review security controls for structured and unstructured data
  • Perform gap analysis against compliance requirements
  • Analyze security logs to identify potential data security risks and provide pragmatic risk remediation recommendations
  • Develop data-driven reports and automated monitoring and alerting capabilities
  • Deliver technical documentation including high-level design, detailed level design, as-built documents
  • Collaborate with the rest of the project team in an Agile fashion

What will you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting or related roles
  • Strong understanding of data encryption, data loss prevention, and security controls
  • Experience in SQL and ETL tools
  • Experience with security risk assessment methodologies
  • Relevant experience with SIEM, PAM, IAM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
