QUALIFICATIONS
- At least three (3) years of experience in data processing and mail programming.
- Knowledge of USPS rules and regulations required.
- Experience with FoxPro, SQL, Python, and BCC preferred.
- Experience in the use of appropriate computer software applications and producing/manipulating electronic files.
- Experience with print production tools preferred.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mailing Data Specialist supports our Data Processing department by manipulating data files, performing data cleanup, and creating output files, data, and list mailing reports. This role also participates in process assessment, redesign, and innovation initiatives to bring focus and efficiency to the whole team.
We’re looking for someone with mail data processing experience, knowledge using BCC software and strong analytical skills. If you’re open to learning and ready to join a small-but-mighty team, then we’d love to meet you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze client-supplied data prior to job processing.
- Ensure job tickets contain all information needed to properly work the job.
- Use the appropriate software programs and utilities to accurately complete the work.
- Performs programming and support activities, including program coding, creating new and revised programs with more effective language codes, processing routines, reporting generators, using hardware, and performing database management techniques as needed.
- Process mail list data to include importing, processing, and outputting of customer mailing lists.
- Manipulate data for mail processing and/or variable data printing.
- Oversees inkjet and digital address layouts.
- Coordinate job processing flow with operators and other manufacturing teams to promote the best workflow.
- Review list and data process for quality-control purposes.
- Communicate with the appropriate departments to provide job status information.
- Save and archive all data department procedures (i.e., downloading, archiving, recording, etc.).
- Adhere to established quality-control procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and reports for downstream work centers and departments.
