Description:
WHO WE ARE
At IIT we work enthusiastically to develop human-centered Science and Technology to tackle some of the most pressing societal challenges of our times and transfer these technologies to the production system and society. Our Genova headquarter is strictly inter-connected with our 11 centers around Italy and two outer-stations based in the US with a strongly interdisciplinary orientation.
In line with its Strategic Plan 2024-2029, IIT has been launching a new Research Data Management (RDM) program, to enable data-driven science based on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). To guarantee that research data are professionally and responsibly managed at all stages of the research cycle, data stewardship competences will be developed and integrated in the workforce, to collaborate with scientists, IT engineers, and legal data experts to ensure the quality, integrity, and reusability of data and metadata in compliance with the applicable law.
