THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for someone to assist our Data Program with planning, organising, and conducting testing for this program by adhering to and implementing the missions, goals, standards, and test processes that have been established for Bupa Australia’s (ALM) Application Life Cycle Management.
You may also be asked to assist with other programs as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced PL/SQL skills with the ability to write and execute complex PL/SQL and Python scripts for database verification.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Experience invoking APIs with the ability to interpret and understand responses in JSON format.
  • Solid understanding of ETL, Enterprise data warehousing and data lake concepts.
  • The ability to review and understand data models, data mapping and architectural documentation to correctly validate transformation logic.
  • Good general knowledge of Azure with hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks/Unity Catalog.
  • Experience validating the functionality, metric calculations, and user/role-based access of Power BI reports.
  • Strong awareness and focus on data privacy and data security considerations that relate to the test process.
  • Prior experience working in an agile development environment and have a good understanding of agile ceremonies and processes.
    This is a 12-month Fixed term Contract and can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney.
    We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you can choose to work from one of our offices in any of these locations or work from home.
