Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated, team player with excellent communication skills in order to work within a busy team managing data quality and supporting an exceptionally busy outpatient booking team essentially managing patient group bookings.
The post holder will be required to work alongside a B4 DQ Validator and be able to work on their own initiative, planning own workload as well as supporting a busy team.
The post holder will be responsible for working across all therapy services including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech and Language communication with relevant admin teams and improving processes as required.
We are looking for an outstanding and experience individual to join our high performing team. The role will promote and support good data quality and includes regular report monitoring with the aim to strive to improve performance for the department. This interesting and varied role also involves providing admin support for booking Therapy Services patient groups as well as supporting our booking teams.
Main duties of the job
Promoting good data quality and its importance.
Have excellent communication skills and work emphatically with our patients.
Extracting and analysing data from systems; undertaking validation of patient data.
Co-ordinating patient group bookings, contacting patients and liaising closely with group AHP leads.
Supporting a friendly outpatient booking team, providing help and assistance when cancelling/re-booking patients appointments covered by general clinic maintenance input.

To assist in the completion of data validation tasks on a daily basis following a timetable and to ensure all reports are managed daily.
Waiting list management to regularly monitor overdue appointments verifying information has been recorded correctly.
To check patient pathways where information has been recorded as missing obtaining the required information.
To assist staff in the department in the use of CareFlow to prevent data quality issues arising.
To assist with other data quality and validation issues as requested by Specialty Manager.
To ensure follow up outpatient bookings are managed chronological as per the BNSSG Patient Access Policy.
To work flexibly according to the needs and demands of the service.
To communicate with admin & therapists, managers, clinicians, NHS staff, patients and their relatives as necessary.
To work with the team to appropriately manage the office environment, including resource management and general office upkeep.
To support clinic utilisation which includes contacting the patient offering short notice/same/next day appointments;
To assist with short notice clinic cancellations which involves contacting patients to advise of clinic cancellation and rebooking into the next available slot;
Retrospectively booking of clinics (antenatal) and setting up ad-hoc clinics;
Coordinate patient group bookings, sending relevant information to patients as well as liaising closely with lead AHP.
Uploading to EDMS (as per Trust protocol).
To ensure Divisional protocols are implemented within own work area and to contribute to suggested changes as required.
To ensure compliance with a range of Trust policies, including Health & Safety, Infection Control, Confidentiality, Data Protection, Sickness Absence and Risk Assessment.
To undertake specific project work as directed by Specialty Manager/Support Manager
