YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Analytics professional with track record of delivering high quality data solutions to support a range of business objectives (5+ years working experience)
- Advanced knowledge of best practice data visualisation and dashboard UX design
- Technical skills including SQL, BI experience (e.g. Power BI), and experience working with large, complex data sets.
- Demonstrated experience delivering strategic insights and recommendations that have a measurable impact on business performance and growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and simple manner to senior leaders, executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesize and disaggregate complex problems with clear considerations for both short and long term outcomes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Responsibilities:
THE KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE ROLE ARE:
- Apply best practice data visualisation and UX principles to design and create impactful dashboards and presentations that enable decision-makers to readily digest and action key insights
- Coach and develop data practitioners to uplift data visualisation capability across the Data & Insights chapter
- Source, validate, combine and analyse data from a range of structured and unstructured sources to uncover deep insights into business performance and drivers.
- Manage ad-hoc requests and develop and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to enable timely, data-driven decision making.
- Design, build and maintain data models and processes to support analytics and reporting.
- Manage delivery timelines and communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project expectations and progress.
- Champion a data-driven, insights-led, customer focused culture across the enterprise by demonstrating and promoting the use of customer insights to inform decision making
- Use of a variety of sources to keep abreast of industry practices.
