QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of software / database development / SQL DBA experience.
• Experienced in Database infrastructure and architecture design and AWS Redshift.
• Experienced in executing and writing Oracle PL/SQL in the most efficient way.
• Experienced in database optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of J2EE architecture and an understanding of object-oriented modelling languages such as Java is added advantage.
• Experience in system accreditation using proxy users, virtual private database technology and label security.

• Provide the standards for, and the administration of, databases and their use.
• Guide, review, and execute the design of new databases.
• Identify the rules of access to the data and monitoring its security.
• Ensure database integrity and availability.
• Approving the operation of new programs with existing production databases, based on results of testing with test data.
• Responsible for database schema designing and assessments.
• Database performance tuning.
• Working with AWS to keep the database in latest patching and version.
• Day to Day database monitoring and performance analyst.
• SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly develop and existing applications.
• Database recovery / duplication / restore by application requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Database issues.
