• Knowledge and hand-on experience of SQL 2005 through to 2019
• Strong in administration of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
• Experience around Always on Availability Groups and windows cluster in Azure and on-prem.
• Able to work with developers, application support staff, software vendors and management.
• Excellent database performance troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge and experience of Azure SQL PaaS/IaaS implementation and configuration.
• Exposure in supporting large environments on-prem and Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with migrating data from MySQL to MS SQL server using SSIS packages.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL GET TO:

• Install, configure, and manage the following Database solutions:
• Microsoft SQL, SQL Clustering and Always On Availability Groups.
• Oracle Database
• MongoDB
• Azure SQL instances- AWS DynamoDB and RD
• Database backup and recovery planning, management, and testing
• Database monitoring, performance tuning and optimisation
• Data transformation and loading
• Reporting and querying (MS SQL SSRS, Oracle Reports)
