We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Consultant to join our team and play a key role in the migration project from Oracle Jet to React, coupled with a transition to a Postgres database. The successful candidate will bring in-depth expertise in Oracle Jet, React, and have exposure to Python, along with a strong background in commercial applications. This individual will collaborate with the development team to ensure a smooth migration process and optimize the performance of our applications.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Experience with Postgres database is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to migration and integration.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the development team and external partners.
Capacity to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Collaborate with the development team to understand the intricacies of Oracle Jet applications and Java extension toolkit.
Lead the migration initiative from Oracle Jet to React, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing projects and maintaining the integrity of the codebase.
Work on transitioning from Oracle to Postgres database while preserving critical business logic.
Assess the existing Oracle on Prem installation, managing the migration process across different versions.
Dive into the Python layer of the application to understand and relocate logic currently embedded in the database.
Provide guidance and expertise to ensure the successful implementation of React and Postgres in the existing infrastructure.
Collaborate with VARs and contracting agencies to streamline the migration process.
