Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Position: Day Shift Transport Allocator
Location: North Fremantle, WA
Status: Full Time

DUTIES

  • Plan the shift transport function to ensure delivery and receipt of cargo is completed in accordance with allocated timeslots and customer/client requirements
  • Allocate jobs to drivers throughout the shift to achieve operational requirements ensuring equality between all drivers shown at all times
  • Provide drivers with required delivery paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with all drivers, customers & seek advice from the Transport Manager / Supervisor to resolve transport problems as they arise
  • Efficient utilisation of the Maximas System data entered ‘live’ and with nil errors
  • Set up requirements for shift bulk runs and transshipments as required
  • Track and record all trailer drop outs to reduce risk of equipment loss
  • Create and provide accurate client booking and release details as requested
  • Timely response to issues raised by major clients with courtesy at all times
  • Work within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in all areas of role
