MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the automotive industry (ESSENTIAL)
- Proficiency in industry-specific accounting software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage and oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank accounts, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare necessary documentation and assist with financial audits conducted by external auditors.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and negotiating favorable terms when possible.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations specific to the automotive industry, and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and provide training or guidance to other finance team members or dealership staff as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
- Conduct periodic financial analyses and provide insights to improve dealership performance.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.
