Job Description
Smit Lamnalco Australia is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified 1st and 2nd Officers for its upcoming emergency towage capability vessel. This will be a Cairns-based vessel, replacing the Coral Knight, which provides emergency towage capability and supports aids to navigation in the Northern Great Barrier Reef area. Fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand new purpose built emergency towage vessel for a long term contract.

• Chief Officer (Job share 50%) – Chief Mate <3000 GT
• Second Officer (Full time) – Watchkeeper Deck

Qualifications

• DP Operator
• DP Maintenance
• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
• Fast Rescue Craft
• Crane Operator
• Dogging/Rigging

Training/familiarisation will commence in early July 2024.
