We’re seeking a Defect Inspection Manager to oversee key performance indicators and delegate tasks among engineers to enhance overall line health and achieve goals. This role involves managing customer interactions, including quarterly reviews and addressing concerns.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Guide the team in supporting factory operations, monitoring processes, recovering yields, and enhancing baseline performance.
• Participate in identifying and analyzing defects within the team.
• Collaborate with various departments to refine defect monitoring and sampling methods.
• Tackle manufacturing issues, leading to improvements.
• Educate engineers on troubleshooting and improving defects at both the beginning and end stages of production.
• Update inspection strategies to maintain consistent manufacturing quality.
• Act as a representative in customer interactions, exuding knowledge and confidence.
• Ensure wafer quality meets product standards, with the authority to halt shipments and production for quality control.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Microelectronics Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in wafer fabrication.
• Expertise in defect and yield enhancement is essential.
• Proficient in defect reduction strategies and their market evolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and project management skills are crucial.
• Problem-solving skills, with knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), experimental design (DOE), and failure analysis (FMEA).
