Description:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of working within the insurance industry, preferably within the Lloyd’s market
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical & IT skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS office systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
A member of the UK Operations team, reporting Delegated Underwriting Manager, you will be providing assurance to Canopius that all forms of delegated underwriting are being underwritten, registered, processed and managed in accordance with the agreed Delegated Underwriting, and other internal policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Pre & post bind reviews for lead and follow binders, consortiums and line slips in line with Delegated Underwriting Management policy, regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Completion of Coverholder renewal due diligence approvals to ensure adherence to both Lloyd’s and Canopius standards.
- Utilisation of Lloyd’s registration and compliance systems, Atlas and DCOM.
- Ensure annual compliance administration is kept up to date on Atlas.
- Provide assistance to underwriting units, as required, in relation to Delegated authority business and ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s code of practice and minimum standards.
- Identification and escalation of delegated underwriting breaches
- Assist with the collation of statistical information as and when required.
- Maintaining good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and effective communication within the team.
