Delivery Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods and materials onto delivery vehicles.
• Ensure that all items are properly secured and arranged for safe transportation.
• Accompany delivery drivers on delivery routes and assist with navigation as needed.
• Verify delivery invoices and obtain signatures upon delivery.
• Assist delivery drivers with any paperwork or documentation required for deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Familiarity with local roads and routes.
