ABOUT THE ROLE

You will take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to how we deliver underpinned by agile and continuous improvement principles.
You will oversee and guide the Treasury and Balance Sheet Service team structured into two cross-functional squads. This is from a product idea through to design-build-test-operate for complex customer focused, business critical applications that use a range of cutting-edge technologies. Acting as a scrum master, the DL’s responsibilities include ensuring that the team follows the enterprise delivery framework, Agile ways of working and values. You will facilitate Agile operating practices including but not limited to delivery planning, epic and story decomposition, story point estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, velocity tracking and resource capacity planning.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Experience using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions.
• Skills in training, mentoring, and supporting the team to follow Agile values, principles and practices.
• Experience determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
• Jira and Confluence experience.
• Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodology (incl. techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions).
• Experience with SAAS products and vendor management would be beneficial
