Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a Senior Engineer / Delivery Lead.
Working in Brisbane office, you will be involved in delivery of a range of IT application projects. This programme is part of a large technology uplift across the entire organisation.
Aside from the above you will be responsible for
- Design / development of technical specifications
- Creation and review of testing plans
- Planning project delivery with external vendors
- Vendor management and engagement
- Overseeing the technical delivery and testing process
This role is looking for a delivery lead with an engineering background. While you will be tech agnostic you will be well versed in the SDLC and technical delivery. We are looking to speak with
- Software engineering background
- Technical project delivery
- Strong SDLC expertise
- High level vendor management skills
- N-tier architectures knowledge beneficial
- Australian citizenship with the ability to get a security clearance
On offer to the successful candidate will be a fixed term role with a duration of 2 years with a salary of up to $159,000 + superannuation.
Ideally you will be based in Melbourne although this organisation has an office in Brisbane so both options are available.
