SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in delivering infrastructure projects and improvements.
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Advanced Electronics qualification or be working towards one.
  • Advanced computer literacy & computer programming skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with VMware or willingness to learn.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment, either internal or external customers.
  • Ability to prioritise work and understand business urgency.
  • Ability to provide subject matter technical advice and guidance for a support team.
  • Experience in the car parking industry would be a bonus but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Full-time position based at our NSW Wilson Parking office in Sydney CBD (7 Macquarie Place). We are happy to offer hybrid working and access to parking. You will be working with a team across multiple states and have the opportunity to build and develop a meaningful long-term career with us.

THIS ROLE IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Supporting the role of Parking access control hardware and other parking hardware.
  • Delivering Infrastructure projects to the agreed time, budget, quality and scope.
  • Lead in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure and software.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate new systems seamlessly.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Reviewing of supplier project plans
  • Conducting project reviews and creating detailed project status reports
  • Managing project progress and adapting work as required
  • Participating in the tender process, design, submission and reviews
  • Transitioning projects to operations teams
  • Support and as required deliver infrastructure projects working with AOM, Portfolio Managers and BMO
  • Elevate rollout in NSW
  • License Plate Reading camera for Elevate
  • Refreshment of car parking access control
  • Network improvements and redesigns
  • Advise BDM’s on software and hardware requirements in tenders
