Description:
Status: Full-time, Temporary Position | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Report To: Associate Director of Supply | Service: Supply
Reporting to the Associate Director of Supply, the Demand Analyst will provide support in all Supply areas duties including estimating future product demand based on SAP forecasting models, analyzing inventories, participating in the S&OP process, and making forecast adjustment recommendations based on budgets. Working in collaboration with Product Management, Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics, the Demand Analyst provides the proper visibility to all stakeholders to ensure goods are available on time for distribution in a profitable manner.
The Demand Analyst is well-versed in ERP systems with experience in finished goods procurement and in-house production (BOM / Kits). They are organized, results-driven with great problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Advanced computer and analytical skills (Excel, Pivot tables, PowerBI, VBA, SQL, etc.) are required for the role. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of forecasting models.
They will perform other related duties as requested by their immediate supervisor, all in accordance with internal procedures.
ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Some knowledge of the tire and wheel industry would be an asset.

This position will require minimal travel.

Responsibilities:
Supply / Demand support | 50%
- Identify effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Work with the planning department to propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Address information flow issues related to the Supply department in a timely and effective manner.
Administration support | 50%
- Develop KPIs and Dashboards to improve visibility across the process.
- Monitor and report on important changes/deviations in forecasts and inventory management.
- Provide support and visibility for monthly forecast (S&OP) meetings.
- Maintain compliance and propose improvements to procedures and documentation.
- Participate in the deployment of OE programs and monitor the progress of projects.
