Description:

Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a Full Time Demi Chef to join our In Room Dining Kitchen and Breakfast team.

ABOUT YOU

  • Holder of Certificate in Commercial Cookery
  • Must have a valid full working rights
  • Experience in a Hotel environment or similar

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the respective outlet.
  • Participates in the creation of new menus and dishes.
  • Prepares and ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney standards and procedures.
  • Assists in ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
  • Informs the Chef de Partie on repair and maintenance needs.
  • Assists in maintaining the kitchen and other related areas in highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
