An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Dental Assistant to join the Dental Team at Maryborough District Health Service. The position is responsible for providing high quality dental assistance support to client groups and their families. The dental assistant will work closely with Dentists, Dental Therapists and other Dental Assistants.

DENTAL ASSISTANT - CASUAL

Classification: DY12 – DY17 dependent on qualifications and experience
Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Dental Assistant to join the Dental Team at Maryborough District Health Service. The position is responsible for providing high quality dental assistance support to client groups and their families. The dental assistant will work closely with Dentists, Dental Therapists and other Dental Assistants.

• Experience and understanding of dental radiography processes

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Experience and well developed skills as a qualified, accredited Dental Assistant, or willingness to undertake training
• Experience with and/or an understanding of Infection Control and sterilisation standards within Dental practice.
• Understanding and experience of Dental radiography processes.
