THE ROLE

Lumino Ponsonby is currently on the lookout for a Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join the team!
As one of our Receptionists, you will be the friendly face our patients see when they enter our doors and the voice they hear when they call our practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with enquiries, generating and confirming appointment booking, payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties.
As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld and the best patient care is provided. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.

The hours for the role are below:

  • Monday: 7.45 am - 5.15 pm
  • Tuesday: 9.45am - 7.15 pm
  • Wednesday: 7.45 am - 5.15 pm
  • Thursday: 7.45 am - 5.15 pm
  • Friday: 7.45 am - 3.15 pm

  • Greet patients in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Respond to patient emails and queries
  • Process payments and book appointments
  • Assist Clinicians during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
