THE PERSON

We are seeking a person with:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Healthcare professional would be advantageous, although we are willing to train the right person!
• Interest in customer service and a willingness to learn about this great industry are essential
• Reliable Transport is a must, preferably access to your own vehicle.
• Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
• Computer savvy skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Lumino Hutt City Dental is on the hunt for a full-time Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team.
Here at Hutt City Dental, our team genuinely loves dentistry, interacting with their patients, and making a difference in the way they look and feel. This role would involve working with a talented team and experienced clinicians to provide the highest quality of care to the wider community.
What does a Dental Assistant Do? A Dental Assistant is a critical part of the team, who support our clinicians with a wide variety of dental procedures. You will also be required to help at reception from time to time, so being a people person is essential
When working as a Receptionist; a typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries (both over the phone and in person), generating and confirming appointment bookings for our dentists as well as patient recalls, typing, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
This role gives you the best of both worlds; no two days are the same!

The hours for the role are:

• Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 6pm
• Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
