We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The Dental nurse will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining our patients’ oral health through preventive dental care and patient education. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or degree in Dental Nursing from an accredited institution -
Valid Dental Nurse license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Minimum of [insert number] years of experience working as a Dental Nurse in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in dental assisting procedures, including chair-side assistance, radiography, and instrument preparation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and dental practitioners.

Chair-side Assistance: Assist dental practitioners during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
Instrument and Equipment Preparation: Prepare dental instruments, materials, and equipment needed for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and organization.
Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays under the direction of dental practitioners, ensuring clear and accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care instructions, promoting optimal oral health and treatment outcomes.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical findings, using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Surgical Assistance: Provide support during dental surgeries and cosmetic procedures, ensuring the dentist has all necessary instruments and materials.
Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols by sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and hygienic clinical environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Continuing Education: Stay informed about advancements in dental nursing practices and technologies through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
