WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Department Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of highly skilled functional experts, collaborating on Novo Nordisk´s digital & data journey and advising various business sectors areas on information security. The specific business areas are our four commercial areas hereunder North America Operations and International Operations as well as staff areas such as Finance, HR, and Quality. On top, the area is responsible for strategic direction setting and execution within specialised areas such as Third-Party Security, Information Security Awareness (Behavioural design & Human factor), Crisis Response Training for management and the Data Classification Journey.

Your focus will lie on nurturing & developing the team and refining processes, playing a pivotal role in understanding, and fulfilling the organization’s information security requirements. At the same time, you will be part of Global Information Security Advisory management team where we will work together in achieving our Organisation’s vision to keep Novo Nordisk safe.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Collaborate and provide guidance to Commercial and Staffs organizations regarding Information Security
• Establish and implement third-party security measures, lead Security awareness program, drive Data Classification Journey and strategise/execute on CRT training for DD&IT management.
• Drive and execute initiatives with the team, setting goals aligned with Global Information Security (GIS) vision, and facilitate organisational development within the area.
• Manage departmental budgets effectively, manage vendor and stakeholder at various levels, and ensure consistency in deliverables through collaboration with the management team.
• Coach & support employee in achieving targets, manage workload and stress levels, and develop employees to align with Novo Nordisk’s objectives.
• Upholding and promoting the GIS culture and Novo Nordisk way.
