DESCRIPTIF DU POSTE

As a Department Tech Lead/Coach, you will be involved in projects currently being delivered but also on future ambitious projects. You will work together with the delivery team that will allow you to deliver projects being sold and help you evolve in your Linker journey.

The Department Tech Lead/Coach is responsible for department-wide processes and practices related to back-end software development (C#, .NET Core).
The desired candidate must be constantly looking for ways to improve things and justify the actual performance of these new processes and practices in the real world. He/she must be a PR/canadian citizen due to security check reasons. Coding assessment will be required during the hiring process. Permanent/full time or contract-based (employee status only)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine best practices and processes (SOLID design, TDD, ATDD/BDD, design patterns, etc.).
  • Document best practices and processes
  • Generate training material and deliver training as required
  • Perform independent external review of work in progress
  • Define/monitor remediation plans when reviews identify non-trivial deviations
  • Coach and develop the skills of department personnel through discussions, review of work products, explanation of design trade-offs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
