Join us as a Deployment & Env Setup Developer! Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Deployment & Env Setup Developer to join our IT Shared Services AI Platform team. In this role you will maintain, support, patch and implement AI-specific applications.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Setup & configuration of environments collaborating w/ platform engineers to define & configure Azure environments based on project requirements & ensure that environment types (e.g. development, testing, production) are appropriately configured for each project)
- Practice system resource management by creating & managing Azure resources (e.g. virtual machines, databases, storage accounts) w/in deployment environments; optimizing resource allocation & cost effectiveness
- Create self-service experience by enabling development teams to create their own deployment environments while adhering to organizational policies & providing a self-service experience w/out granting direct control over Azure subscriptions.
- Track costs associated with deployment environments & ensure compliance w/ enterprise governance policies
- Work closely with development teams, project managers, & other stakeholders
- Communicate environment setup guidelines & best practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Azure Proficiency
- Infrastructure Management, Configuration, Governance & Security
- Infrastructure as Code
- Management Across Cross-Functional Teams
- Cost Management & Optimization
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT supporting and maintaining Linux operating systems
Education, Certifications & Other:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, works independently, & across teams
- Fluent in English
