Description:

A PASSION FOR THE PRAIRIES

The Prairies – our home and way of life. Prairie Centre was born on the prairies in 1993 as a result of a merger between five like-minded credit unions in the West Central region of Saskatchewan. Since then, 10 more branches have joined, making Prairie Centre the largest rural-based credit union in Saskatchewan.
Much like the members we serve, our determination, grit, and passion for the prairies is what helped us grow to a full-service financial institution; serving over 17,000 members, managing over $1.5 billion in assets, and employing over 160 people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Financial industry experience preferred, though consideration will be given to candidates with a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused team based approach.
  • Effective organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes.
  • Thorough understanding of Registered products, CRA implications, and AML/CRS/FATCA requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Collaboration skills, with a willingness to assist and work in a team.
  • Ability to work independently while following department procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred.
