Description:

In this permanent part time (potential for full time) role, based in Richmond, you will be responsible for Medical Workforce across the Epworth Healthcare organisation including Employed and Visiting Medical Offiers (VMOs). You will be part of the Academic and Medical Services team and report to the Executive Director Academic and Medical Services/Chief Medical Officer.
This role will be Deputy to the Chief Medical Officer.
You will be responsible for credentialing doctors, including building on relationships, recruiting strategically, and managing performance issues. You will build Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) engagement with Epworth.

You will have:

  • MBBS- and current AHPRA registration
  • Experience as a senior leader in a major health service/s
  • Experience in health data and analysis, and clinical information systems
  • Post graduate training in Leadership/management / Fellowship of the Royal College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA)
  • Sound knowledge of the health industry
