Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated looked after children’s specialist nurse who is able to support the strategic looked after children’s agenda for Kent & Medway. The post holder will work to support the Associate Director/Designated Consultant Nurse for Looked after Children as part of a team delivering against the statutory guidance on the health and wellbeing of Looked after Children on behalf of Kent & Medway ICB.
The post holder will work to ensure that the ICB achieve its statutory Looked after Children’s functions and that the quality and effectiveness of services provided meet the needs of Looked After Children.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is able to work collaboratively with key individuals from across the NHS commissioning and provider landscape, as well as key multi- agency partners.
Support the team in providing clinical expertise to NHS Kent and Medway ICB
Develop a strategic overview of services for looked after children across Kent and Medway.
With the team, oversee and support the delivery of health services for this vulnerable group, ensuring all organisations meet their statutory duties.
Undertake clinical audit and quality assurance.
Provide clinical advice on developing and commissioning of new services.
Deliver multi-agency training.
