Deputy Director of Data & Analytics

The Deputy Director of Data and Analytics provides the opportunity to be part of a change to the way we deliver health and care services in Dorset ICS; we need a greater focus on prevention, reducing health inequalities by providing equitable access, outcomes and experience, joining up pathways for the benefit of the users and ensuring care is delivered by the right person, in the right place at the right time. Population Health Management is key to this approach; we need to ensure we have the correct data sets, use all the data we have available well and adopt a data driven approach to planning and delivery of health and care. As a senior leader, this role will be instrumental in developing data services and business intelligence. You will contribute to and deliver the ICS data strategy and ensure the realisation of its benefits, continuing Dorsets transition from data-rich to actionable intelligence-driven, supported by cutting-edge data science and automation.
The post holder will be required to deputise for the Deputy Chief Analytical Officer for their areas of responsibility at Board meetings, sub-committees, at organisational, system, southwest regional, and national meetings. Please see full Job Description attached
