The Cyber Security Group (CSG) is the cybersecurity arm of GovTech that is committed to creating a trusted digital Government for Singapore.
As a Deputy Director of Workforce and Training, you will be joining the Plans, Policy & Strategy (PPSD) Cluster in CSG which oversees cybersecurity strategies, policy, and resource-planning. You will be tasked to lead, develop and drive cybersecurity workforce development initiatives, develop training strategies and deliver cybersecurity hygiene programmes to protect IT assets and manage user behaviour within the Whole-of-Government (WOG).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology preferred
  • CISSP and/or CISA certifications would be an advantage.
  • At least 10 years in a team leading role with experience running cybersecurity programmes or government related programmes.
  • Knowledge of and interest in emerging cybersecurity threats and trends about the latest cybersecurity technologies, tools, and solutions, and continually assessing their applicability to Government systems
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and econometrics would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Clear and logical thinking, and analytical mindset; ability to grasp complex topics and distil into clear and easy-to-understand concepts; ability to develop creative solutions and form logical, coherent reasoning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Able to work independently and persevering attitude.
