Description:

Deputy Domestic Manager - Band 4 - Permanent
Full time - 37.5 hours
As a key member of the Domestic management team, the post holder is required to manage and deploy resources effectively, ensuring that performance standards are achieved through leadership and effective monitoring systems. The post holder will be required to provide specialist knowledge and advice to service users, in regard to cleaning services and national standards.
The post holder has responsibility for ensuring cleaning is undertaken 24/7. A high degree of flexible working is required in order to adequately monitor cleaning standards. This will mean that there will be occasional late finishes and occasional weekend working.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING SHIFT TIMES:

07:00 - 15:00
11:00 -19:00
Flexibility will be required as the Domestic Team offer a 24/7 Service to a busy Hospital Trust and Community Clinics, must hold full UK driving License

The post holder will be required to provide specialist knowledge and advice to service users, in regard to cleaning services and national standards.
The post holder has responsibility for ensuring cleaning is undertaken 24/7. A high degree of flexible working is required in order to adequately monitor cleaning standards. This will mean that there will be occasional late finishes and occasional weekend working.
The post holder will also carry out regular building inspections within the PFI estate to ensure the facilities are maintained to a high standard and are delivered in accordance with the Contractual service specifications set out for the management and delivery of the Trusts PFI Buildings. In addition the post holder will support the Domestic Manager in all aspects
of Domestic management and will deputise for the Domestic Manager as requested.

Knowledge of National Cleaning Standards;
Knowledge of a range of Trust policies and management procedures, requiring ongoing on the job training and experience;
Skills in planning and undertaking risk assessments of complex activities;

Skills in Risk assessment and developing method statements;
Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications;
Preliminary complaint investigation and reporting
