POST SUMMARY

The Financial Services Division (FSD) wishes to appoint a Deputy FIS Manager to its Financial Information System (FIS) Team. Reporting to the FIS Manager, the successful person will manage operations across the full FIS team including system up time, support, user experience, system security, Disaster Recovery, and business continuity for FIS systems, also managing the relationship with the University’s Managed Service Partner and focusing on supporting FSD and ‘business’ units within the University. They will schedule work within the department ensuring requirements are gathered, all changes go through the change process and associated User groups. They will oversee the delivery of system changes, implementations, and/or sourcing new innovative solutions, specifically for (but not limited to) the Oracle EBS Platform, ensuring all planned technical solutions meet business requirements. In the absence of the FIS manager, the Deputy FIS Manager will take full ownership and responsibility to manage any major system issues, outages and/or incidents (including Cyber-attacks).
