Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the directorate of General and Vascular surgery to appoint into the role of Deputy General Manager (8b)
As Deputy General Manager you will have a key leadership role and be responsible for the operational delivery of services that span across 3 sites in addition to services across the network.
You will form part of the directorate leadership team, working in partnership with the General Manager, Business Managers, Clinical Leads, Heads of Site, Senior Nurses, Finance and HR and will play a fundamental role in driving forward the divisions’ vision for service improvement, quality and patient experience.

The post holder will report to the General Manager and will provide appropriate support to the General Manager and the Clinical Director in the delivery of all operational functions in the directorate. The individual will have responsibility for defined services and allocated resources. A specific requirement of this post is to lead the business management team.
